Labrador Friends of the South

A non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue and adoption of homeless labs in the Southeast region.

Dear Lab Friends,

We cannot begin to thank our Lab Families for all you do for us during the course of the year. Many of you volunteer, foster, donate or just tell a friend about our organization. Thank you!

Like all organizations, the one thing we always need are cash donations of any size! The up front expenses in rescue are enormous--vetting, medication, surgery, boarding and on and on.  In an effort to build our funds, we are launching the "Friends Fund." This will give us a dedicated fund to help our Labbie Friends.

Donations can be made at all different levels, dedicated or anonymous. Donors will be recognized monthly in our newsletter as follows:

Bronze Bone 0-$25

Silver Bone $26-$50

Gold Bone $51-$75

Platinum Bone $76-$100

Diamond Bone- $101 & above

With all the dogs that have been adopted over the last two years, if each dog’s family gave just $10.00 we could raise almost $5,000 !!! That is a lot of dogs saved.  Also, don't forget, your donation is tax deductible and we are close to the end of the year!

You can donate online at http://www.labradorfriends.com/fundraisers.htm or you can send your check to

Please notate "Friends Fund" on your payment and let us know if you want to dedicate your donation.

Our volunteer Karen Hall will be the first to donate $10.00 for each of her Labbies and dedicate her donation to the Memory of her sweet Grover who she lost several years ago. Are you up to Karen’s challenge?

Thank you and a great big wet labbie kiss to all of you!
