Finally we are ready to introduce our new logo. Champ volunteered to be our model. It took many long hours and treats but it was worth it. The three colors in the logo, yellow, chocolate and black, were an obvious choice given our love for labs. We think this new logo represents well who we are: committed and fun at the same time! Keep your eyes open for great merchandise with our new logo soon for sale. |

Augustus’s story is the story of a survivor and a fighter. Soon after we rescued him from animal control we discovered that he probably suffered a big trauma because his internal organs were all pushed up into his chest. He had to undergo an unfashionable haircut, a long and costly operation, and a few months of recovery. We were not sure he was going to make it but look at him now! Augustus fought his way back and now he is doing very well. Due to his past and all he had to endure, Augustus is still a little insecure of himself and is looking for a wonderful family willing to understand him. We had one of our trainers work with him and he is doing much better already after only two sessions. He really just needs someone to lead his way. Augustus does not like the competition of other big male dogs so he will probably be better in a family where he is the only male dog in the house. Augustus has been at the vet for too long and he needs to get out and discover a world in which his stomach does not hurt anymore and he does not have to defend himself. Help us find him a good permanent or foster home! |

Do you know that you can help saving a dog simply by shopping online? And you save gas too! All you have to do is go to your favorite website through our affiliates link. The price you pay is exactly the same, but we get a small percentage. A few dollars can make a big difference for our dogs. So don't forget to go to our website before you shop. And if there is store you like that is not there, email us so we can add it. And don't forget, August 2nd to 5th is tax free holiday. The tax free rule applies to online purchases too, as long as they are processed within the weekend, so start early. Check out the GA Department of Revenue web site for all of the details. |

Choosing the right dog food is extremely important. Learn to read the labels and choose a dog food that does not contain animal byproducts. Do your research. Most dog food that you buy over the counter at grocery stores contain animal by products that can easily cause allergies. A few more dollars per bag to buy good dog food will save you a lot of money in allergies medicines and will make your dog’s coat shine. |
